ACR question...

I know I can dial in the shock settings but I assume I can adjust ride height as well?

I have coil overs on my 69 Camaro and I can adjust up to 2 inches...the set up on the ACR looks the same.

dummy with a wrench.

Re: ACR question...

Yes you can, you should have a little gold tool that says ACR on it. One end has a hex key (allen wrench) on it, the other end just a round tip. Loosen the allen bolts (inside 2 of the round holes on the adjuster) and then use the round end of the tool in the holes to rotate the adjuster. There ya go, have fun.

Re: ACR question...

Hey Toby, you've got 1" of adjustment but only go 3/4". Its been found that a full 1" is too much on track and the shocks pack up.

Re: ACR question...

Thanks for the track tip Mark.

..what about street use?

I just want to loose the 4 x 4 look more than anything when it comes to normal daily driving.

Re: ACR question...

I have mine lowered 3/4". The fascia scrapes A LOT. I can make it over *almost* all speedbumps, but the bigger ones hit the oil pan unless I creep over them diagonally.

Also, at 3/4" lower, its just a bit too low to squeeze my harbor freight jack under the front.

Still tho - I love it! hahaha

Oh, and if I didn't already tell you. Get a set of the ACR mats from the norcal club. I can send you pics if you want. They're great.

DW, I will be coming in for my suspension adjustment shortly. Needs to be lowered and set-up correctly. Feels like crap right now.

Toby...You're gonna adjust the ride height, that is gonna mess with the spring rates...You really need to adjust the ACR suspension on scales...just rent / borrow some...

With the lowered ride height, you really won't have to be any more careful than I am sure you already are...I am dropped an inch and hardly evar drag...

I'll take pics when I get home tonight. Its basically a black mat with the giant Sneaky Pete and the "ACR" emblem beneath. Perfect addition to any ACR, unless you have the "conolly" or whatever it was called.

Mike,

Thanks again for your help. You would not believe the BULL SH!T I went through with that F'n dealer!!! They kept dicken me around with when the car was ready, they told me it was ready Monday afternoon. My transport people were there yesterday and the car was still at the Dodge dealer for the ABS light and ACR belt recall. FINALLY it left today and they will deliver the car Saturday morning at 7:00am.

That sales rep I had was a real D head.

Anyway thanks again.
