Any reason why I can't jack the rear of my car up by the differential? This would make it a lot easier to put on jack stands in one shot.

Personally, I would use the frame rails.

Our frame is so stiff, that if you jack it up just a bit higher, from either frame rail, you will be able to get both stands under...

I read before that you'll crush a portion of the diff, not sure what but no need anyways with the stiff frame.
