Joe, that is exactly where the owner got the idea. Hope you don't mind the copy cat action, by all means, take it as a compliment! He is having some type of emblems made for the writing on the tubes rather than painting it on. I guess he can change the writing when he wants to that way. What else did you paint and/or powder coat? We did the cross brace in front of the engine "crackle" black and we also did every single part from Roe with the exception of the supercharger front supports. Your set up looks great and thanks for the idea.

Hey Len, you know better! This is the first one. I have another one now that will be the same. But, I do now have a third car I am taking apart now, and yes, it will be bigger than the one you are putting together. The owner decided to go with Sean's fuel system so I am waiting for it to arrive early next week. It WILL be burning fuel by the end of next week. You will be the fourth to know, I promise. I'm first, owner second, Roe third, then you! I won't forget ya. It looks like I will miss Florida but I will make Bowling Green. Tell Kyle to make plans to take his also. My plan as of now is to have all 3 of these cars at the next V10 Nationals.

Re: Painted Roe S/C pics

David,
I did everything you did except the front cross member support. Everything to do with the blower and the valve covers I painted. I think I am going to do the thermostat housing and polish the front support on the next one. I did a '96 blue with a polished blower to match the car on the one before the red one...it turned equally as nice. I am doing a carbon fiber overlay with a set of carbon fiber valve covers coming up...we painted the car a pearl white with black accents...I hope it stands out as much as the others. I have a few other ideas, but I guess I had better hold back...I like everything that rolls out of our shop to be unique and stand out in a crowd. Anyway, I was just giving you some trouble, I am very happy that somebody else liked it enough to copy it.
Thanks again,
Joe

Re: Painted Roe S/C pics

I thought the red was the winner, but the blue w/ polished manifold may be even nicer!
