HPE Cylinder Head Gaskets

Hello All,

I've been forwarding all the Emails we've received regarding the head gaskets to John @ HPE so he can compile a list of everyone interested. Additionally I've been answering Emails that have attached tuning and component questions when a free moment arises. Apologies if the Emails aren't returned propmptly, we've just been busy and are very thankful for the business!

To answer some of the questions, here are a few details:

1. Gaskets are made by Cometic.
2. Will work on any bore size Gen 2 or Gen 3 motor.
3. Should be available by 2nd quarter of 2004.

Hi Larry, hope you had a great holiday season (and you as well John).

Question: If I add ported heads and a cam along with the coming intercooler to my Roe blower setup as we discussed before, does it make more sense to lower the compression with these gaskets as opposed to doming the heads? Or should we use some combination of both? Glad things are busy, but save some time in early spring for me and Brian. The mountains are really pretty then. :thumb:

Hello Ronnie,

We had a great Holiday season thanks! I hope you did as well? I love that part of the country and wish I were there to experience the change of season. A change of season here in Florida is nonexistant.

Our cylinder heads are produced to suit your individual needs, so when the time arrives to upgrade, we'll figure out the most economical path to take, Ronnie. If your purchasing our heads for your Roe blower, the heads will be chambered to fit your application.

Re: HPE Cylinder Head Gaskets

Are these gaskets going to be a limited offer/supply? Or can I possible get a pair late this coming summer?

Thanks Larry! We did have a good holiday season, thanks. I'll give you a call to touch base in a few weeks and we can discuss the upgrades in more detail.

Simms - we are doing an initial order of 50 sets of gaskets. We hope to keep them in stock most of the time.
