Tickets automatically go's to the registered owner or the company if a company car, then they have to prove it wasn't them else they get the ticket. You get a lot of housewives taking the blaim for her husbands speeding tickets !
As a company there is a fine of $3500 for not been able to put a name to the driver

Not running a front plate in a viper over here wouldnt help if the police wanted to track you down as the numbers are so small, there's only 2 other Steel Gray vipers in the UK (that I'm aware of) and one of them is a RT, if you owned a blue/white you'd have more of a chance, the most popular combo around 30 or so.

Missing the front plate, I think the maximum fine is $1600 and points on your license, so you wouldnt do it even in your daily driver. This hefty fine should only apply to repeated offences, normally the first time you'd get a warning which is noted on Police computers and if you get stopped again, well.....
time to pay up

Could always use an electrochromatic license plate cover (http://www.integrale.demon.co.uk/stealth/car.htm), or merely an anti-photo lens or spray (http://www.phantomplate.com).

Re: Valentine 1 install

dirty, unreadable, altered plates can resort to the same if you have a traffic cop who has had a bad day, thought the electrochromatic license plate gave a totally different look to the plate when not in use ?, which makes it stand out.
is anyone using one ? I dont know anybody in the UK using this system as it was given a bad name a while back as it didnt work
