V10 NATIONALS SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Just spoke with Dr. Roof, he is on the road and cannot post as of now. Here is what he told me the schedule and awards will be:
Saturday December 6th
8AM Dyno Shootout (see related sticky thread for directions)
******************AWARDS************************** *********
FORCED INDUCTION
ROE BLOWER
SRT 10
STOCK
MODIFIED (stroker/NOS/etc)
and KING OF THE DYNO
I do not know how he will determine the winner in each catagory (I would assume highest HP). He did say the awards are AWESOME!
2:00 PM TRACK GATES OPEN!!!!!
3:30 PM STREET TIRE QUALIFICATIONS BEGIN
5:00 PM START RACING FOR STREET TIRE SUPREMECY!
*******Sunday December 7th*******
10:00 AM TRACK GATES OPEN
11:00 AM TRACK GOES HOT
1:00 PM QUALIFYING BEGINS!!!!!!
Dr. Roof will chime in when he gets back to an internet connection and update and or correct anything I have missed.

Re: V10 NATIONALS SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
To me the forced induction and Roe blower are the same.
I would like to see an all motor class - but that's just me. Either way I will be there.

Anthony
there is a award for all motor on the dyno. 95% sure i am not able to look but almost certain I made a award for the all motor as well.
The roe Blower is different award because it is a different set-up as wel as sean Roe is sponsoring this award.

Sounds great and makes sense on the Roe award since he is a sponser!!

Re: V10 NATIONALS SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
I got to test the E55 the other day. That thing would crush the ///M anywhere but around some canyon roads. It's really quite a phenomenal car, but unfortunately MBZ isn't treating me as right as BMW does. I'd trade it in in a second.

Re: V10 NATIONALS SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Smackie, I completely agree with your assessment. My '01 M5 felt better on the curves...as was the feel of the brakes and steering. BUT, the E55 feels like a muscle car. I love them both and look forward to the new M5 as I know it will perform in all arena's except maybe looks. MB dealer was shit to deal with and I told them to enjoy the sale because IF I buy another MB, it will be from another dealer. I hear MB service is good though (I hope). BMW sales was MUCH better to deal with and the local dealer (in Austin) was great for service too.
