Re: Rev Limiter

:doh:Ok, I knew that but I guess was asking if changing the fuel system and re-programming the FMU for the blower, does it still shut off at 6200? Thanks, Matt

The Roe VEC2 can be programmed for whatever RPM you want.

Re: Rev Limiter

The factory rev limiter is technically a fuel shut off at 6,200 rpm.
It doesn't shut down the ignition.
The flaw with that is that if you're running Nitrous and spraying additional fuel (like the BTR Nitrous/Propane System), when you hit 6,200 rpm you cause a major leanout when the fuel to the injectors is shut off.

The Mopar Performance Computer eliminates the factory rev limiter/fuel shut off.

Re: Rev Limiter

that is one big ass motor to be revving past 6200. I would not want to spin it much faster than that, even modified.

Re: Rev Limiter

Thanks for the input guys. :thumb: I was just concerned with the new fuel system and upgraded FMU that the 6200 rev limiter might not still work. Do you think it will still come on? If so I don't need to do anything else. I have no intentions of going past 6200, just wanted to make sure that the factory rev limiter still would work. :thumb: Matt
