New Viper Classified: GEN 2 Extrude Honed Intake

A new Classified Ad has been posted to the Vipers For Sale section:

Description: I bought this from 99RT10&GTS and I was going to use it with a head and cam package, but decided to leave my car stock. Extrude Hone wants $965 plus your intake to do one. All I want is what I paid Mike for it, which is $600 + shipping. All vacuum ports are there and good condition. Its very close to Sapphire Blue. You can get it stripped and re powder coated if you chose so.

To be honest, Im not sure. Maybe someone else could chime in. When I spoke with the guy at Extrude Hone, he said it removes about 30 thousandths of material through out the intake. I would think its better than just a port match. He said they used to do a lot of them for road race guys. Looking at it, its a lot smoother in the ports and you can see the size difference from a stock intake.
