To the naked eye a TT set up on a viper might not look like a lot of $$, specially with all the kits being sold and some of the TT vipers on the market for mid 50s. Also the GTR and TT Gallardo fever...
But by the time you start adding the right engine build (billet mains, rods, ARP hardware, GG heads, iconnel valves, etc.) the stroker set up, big turbos, fuel system, Engine managment, Drive train mods, wheels and tires, TUNING, etc. it adds up to a LOT.
Ask anybody who has done one from scratch and I bet you it gets close to 100k in just mods.
Market is not great, but this car is not even in the same Zip code than your run of the mill stock 488 cid with a bolt on t3 turbo system.
No doubt it takes a special buyer that knows what involves to get a project like this done, tuned and reliable.
Those of you who have done it from stock know what I'm talking about, and those of you who have bought the Cheaper/un-finished set ups, also know what I'm talking about.
Not that many Reliable(streetable, good iddle, cold start, no over-heating, A/C) Balls to the WALLS BIG BUILDS out there for sale. Mostly are the bolt on stuff, or unfinished running like crap set ups.
GIII, you sold your bolt on 800 "dyno" rwh set up for 55k? Do yo honestly think there is a 10k difference between this build and what you had? Don't blame you for trying, but I'm sure by now you are one of the guys that is starting to understand what it really takes
to build one of these.

I knew there would be questions about the sales price of this car when I posted it. For this reason, I chose to post this up on Viper Alley first before any other forums, so that I could answer any questions regarding the car or my sales price before any doubts or rumors started. As I stated before, I do not need to sell this car nor necessarily want to. I am giving someone the opportunity to own this car that can appreciate it and take advantage of its low miles, build quality, and performance more than I can.
My pricing is based upon the following:
1) Base price of the car: Only 6400 miles
2) Quality of parts in this car: Lead times on GG heads, John Reed Pectel tuning, sleeved engine etc.
3) This car has been built solely by RSI: Not a Frankenstein car fixed and changed by multiple shops who can't figure out what the other one did.
4) Car is backed by RSI: RSI knows this car well and can stand behind the build quality of the car.
5) Car is turnkey: For any of you who have built a car, you know that this is a huge factor. Being able to drive off in a car and not having to spend the time waiting and incurring additional costs during your build is almost priceless to some. Some of you ballers have multiple fun cars to play with, but when your sole fun car is down for almost a year... it starts to wear on your emotions pretty bad.
This car is not for everyone.
I'm selling it for the price that I am willing to separate with it for. I know that I will never be able to build a car like this again, so I am not going to just give it away especially when I don't need to sell it.
Yes, I know you can build a TT car and make around the same power for less. If you solely want a go fast car then this is probably not the car for you. If you want a car with turnkey reliability, no stories, and looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, then maybe this car may be the right one for you.
Cliff Notes: This car is too nice for me. If anyone wants to buy it before I drive the hell out of it, I am going you the oppourtunity. I don't need to sell it, but I know what it takes (time/money) to build a car like this. This is the price which makes it worth it to me to sell the car.
Best post of the thread. Finding a car that meets all 5 of your points is the hard part. For everyone else that has a TT Viper, we can all benefit from you selling high.
Not saying the car isn't worth every cent, but I really want a Gallardo, and seeing as you can get them in the 90-100k range, there is no way I'd buy a Viper over a Lambo.
And yes, I would be happier driving a slow Lambo than a fast Viper. (doesn't help it's an SRT though)
There is nothing like driving a high HP TT or Supercharged car...... If I had a lambo it would be TT so fast. One that is turn key and drives like stock is priceless.

Great points! People don't realize the money, time, and headaches involed in these big builds! Anyone that's been thru it knows the values of these cars! All this means nothing to the buyers as they are looking at it from a different perspective! No matter if Jesus built this car himself, the new buyer still has to consider the what ifs and leave himself a little room to wiggle incase shit happens. The way I'd figure it is, you do real well if you get 60-65 cents on the dollar for the mods on the car. Now if the car is a world record holder or is classified as the best out there it may fetch a little more. This is just the reality when dealing with highly modded cars! Just look at what the highly modded cars fetch vs what it costs to build them! Good luck to Keith, it's a shitty time to sell anything out there!
I would assume if he got 60 cents on the dollar for the cost it took to build that car plus the cost of the car, it would total a pretty decent amount over the asking price. Thats with being able to pick up the car and drive it right away, which for some is well worth it.
The car in my opinion is worth every penny he is asking, it may just take some time to find the right buyer but im sure Hyph understands that.
Thanks everyone for helping me to illustrate the value of this car.
I am in no rush to sell, and merely making the car visible for anyone wanting to own a car like this. Believe me, if I actually needed to sell this car, I would post up "NEED TO SELL RSI TT SRT" much like I did when I sold my TT GTS to get this one.
As Vital said, I have time to wait for the right buyer who is looking for their right car.
