All I can say is holy crap...Numbers are one thing on a sheet of paper. The drive home was unreal. For the most of the drive I stuck it in 6th gear and cruised at 70-80 up and down hills. Car has so much torque and no lugging it just drive like a smooth diesel.
I then jumped on it a couple of times. 1st gear...tires are useless, 2nd prettly much the same, I backpeddled it going to redline (or somewhere close) Did another roll again in 2nd and pulled deep 3rd. The time from go to redline, even with peddling is so fast it's unbelieable.
Again, Todd is the man and got this thing working great...no better than great.
Now the drag is it is suppose to rain all weekend in Sunny San Diego....
Nice! Got to love N/A power. Just think what it would do with a few more ci and a set of ported Gen 4 heads. I've been saying for years that the 708/CC cams are just TOO small between that and having poor flowing Gen 2 heads these cars never really made great power. But now we can use a set of heads that can flow like a Big Block we are going to start seeing 700-725rwhp on 93pump N/A

Take the car out. I drive mine in the rain all the time. Heck I took mine to work today.
If you take it to Barona or racelegal I would like come out and see how it runs.
Wow great numbers! Todd just finished my NA build and I should get my car back Monday. I cant wait. i would have picked it up today but I am sick as a dog with the flu. my car wont have those numbers but I am still very excited. Hope to see you and your car soon at some of the local meets.
Price is way off base but, it is one sweet Viper. But I would take a 1500rwhp TT over it.
Bobby, you have 1500 on the brain
A good 750 RWHP TT Viper with less boost in 1st and 2nd gears will hook better than the NA and be faster all the way to the top.
I understand the whole NA thing. Back in the day, I drove to LPE and went for a ride in one of those cars and it was very fast except 1st and 2nd gears were un usable. I am sure with better tires it would hook better to be sure.
