Anyone in Florida (surrounding) with a trailer I can rent?
Trying to take my car to Ocean City May 16-19 for a big car show I have not been to in years. Meet all my friends have fun etc. Driving with twin turbos doesnt seem like a great idea if it rains or something.
I would buy a trailer but not really anywhere to put it where I live now and it appears that Uhaul is not the best option at all. Originally was going to do the autotrain but dont feel like sitting on a train for 17 hours haha.
Thought I would throw this out there early to give people time to see if they have one available that I could use. Let me know if you need a certain amount of money for it or whatnot. Would be 2,000 miles of driving and would be parked in a private residence in Ocean City, where my friend owns a home.
Nothing to do with being a pussy. What if I hit a rain storm or weather sucks the whole way. I'm not interested in inhaling water into the turbos or constantly pulling over.
Damn man I know we were talking about that earlier but 17 hours is forever! I am lucky I have that option though, might end up going that route only $500 round trip.
Rules for the train say 4 inches of ground clearance, with the Eibachs thats cutting it close with the underneath piece lol.
No idea just assumed that sucking water in through the turbo wouldnt be good. It is also going to be about 2300 miles of total driving to get to my first desination to meet everyone, get to the show and back to Orlando. That will be roughly $450 in gas? The autotrain is $580 and about 400 miles driving around and meeting etc. Its just a long ride.
So spend $200 more than driving and safe the wear/tear on the car? Something to consider or trailer it.
That would be awesome if you made it up and to have another nice viper in OC. I'll be there for sure with mine. My buddies and I go down and have a ton of fun in the evenings/night tearing up and down the strip. Daytime is way to much traffic for my liking.
