So I had purchased the upgraded hoses a few months ago and had them put in at Dodge by a member on the board here actually along with a bunch of other maintenance bits. When these were installed I was a little curious about that bleeder valve that is basically pressed into an opening of the hose.
Well it started leaking.... and I looked on the forums at that point and the searches showed that others had the same issue. Hit up Sean at Roe and he sent me one of his new bleeder kits that I could just replace the whole center section with for FREE! I had it at my door in one business day which is great customer service.
So I figured I would show what everything looked like pre- installand what the thing looks like inside for everyone to see. If you want a current pic of how it looks I can take one. This is just for any future buyers of this hose to look out for:
Before removing the hose, you can see where it has leaked and dried... it leaks right at the bleeder:
This is a topside shot, here you can see that the pressure was almost pushing the bleeder out:
Just a shot of the inside of the hose which you dont get to see often, I would imagine to the size of that opening it would create a lot of pressure:
Here is a topside view of the new bleeder install:
And just because, a shot of my car after detail and no more leak lol:
