He has a 9-5 job here to pay the bills but said he was going to get back into Viper stuff at the start of the year. He had a lot of stuff going on he needed to square away but he said to spread the word that he's going to turn wrenches come January.

My car already has a SCT, so he should be using that. I'd do moonflips if the car got 575, but that seems lofty. I think it might make that if they were Stryker heads, but these are ported stock heads. Greg Good provided the old owner with the specs on the cam he had made, but unless the stock exhaust was SUPER restrictive I doubt I'll get that high. The heads have Jesels and upgraded hardware, but I'm not holding my breath on making a huge jump in power.
I'm hoping for about a 50HP bump...525-535 is what I expect.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I like David, he was always pretty nice to me. I guess when they closed the A.R.T shop he left? Is he planning on starting a new Biz or going to work at a new shop?

A combination last I heard. He's going to be renting/leasing existing shop space from someone, as well as traveling around the area if need be to help out the Viper guys.
Sounds fucking amazing, really makes me want a cam and rear exit exhaust. Pretty bad when my wife's cammed C6 sounds better than my car...
Glad it's all back together, now get out there and get some highway footage.
I still need to do the motor mounts and finish putting the rivet nuts in for the side sills.
Vipers have a unique sound. Most argue that the V8s sound better, but the odd-firing V10 is music to me. You're at a disadvantage at being loud and hearing the entire engine because you have sidepipes, but it's still a Viper. YOU WON.
ˆˆˆReminds me of my old RT/10 with a 708 cam in it, headers, high-flow mufflers, no cats.
Man, I almost forgot about that car. You DEFINITELY hit the nail on the head with that cam/exhaust combo. To me that's almost how Vipers should sound from the factory but again, that's just me.
I had a video saved to my YouTube favorites that had an 02' Bumble Bee GTS at idle that was absolutely wicked sounding but the user took it down last year sometime.
I'll shoot a pic of the spec card today or tomorrow and text it to you. And they're JM heads. Apparently Jeff had a CNC program for porting stock heads, and I verified they were CNC machined when I had the intake off. They came off squadX's blower car, and the previous owner of my car bought them and installed the cam he had spec'd by Greg Good.

When I was done with the mods my ears would ring after every drive but it sounded sweet. It was one of my all-time favorite-sounding cars, and guys with all generation cars would compliment me on it at our local meets.
Here is a video taken shortly after I sold it...this is the new owner doing his thing before he took everything off of it and sold it to 00SVTdubs.
