Did you find out what that port in the front is used for?

All ports in the intake are vaccume... just a hole / port into the intake.

Ok. I was asking him what his front one went to because I just have a cap on mine and he has a hose connected to his. I was just wondering what his hose is connected to. Most of the ones I see just have a cap covering the port like I have, just wasn't for sure what it's used for.

I think I originally had a cap on mine too, but now I use it for my boost gauge. His may go to his emissions charcoal stuff located in the front bumper that has a few vacume lines running to it.

I'm gonna work on it tonight or tomorrow (been out of town). I'll take a peek when I decide it's a good idea to freeze my ass off.

They're right...it disappears into the fascia somewhere. I have it split with the other half going to my Boost-A-Pump but the half you're referring to I guess goes to the emissions equipment everyone alluded to.

Is this all I need to remove on the passenger side for the heater motor? Or do i need to completely remove the whole box below it too?

I replaced the blower fan when I was in there so I pulled it too. It's only 2-4 bolts and the extra wiggle room was with it.

You can find them used for 60 shipped and I happen to know someone who has one from a 97 salvage vehicle.

Mine still worked, but the mounting holes for the air box on top of it were kind of stripped out. Since John had one from the Roe car he parted out I picked it up last year.
