2.nd UPDATE on RSI, how to loose 2450USD, and a YEAR Of bullshiXX
Hey guys!
Some of you may remember another post i had, requesting tips/help/pointers on how to actually get my funds back from a supporting vendor! RSI!!!
I wasnt able to paste the link to the old thread, but i reckon a search will find it.
Anyways, Will our trusted fuel system supplier immediately after this post responded, and promised to take care of me!!
So he did, he sent me a care package with a swirl pot, and a check.. ALL GOOD!!!
Until i hit the bank, the check bounced!!!
It took two months from the time he said hešll fix it until i got it, now it has taken another 3 weeks for him to wire me the money!! Or send it domestic inside the USA to a good friend of mine.
I simply do not know what to do, but hope that this helps. Išve been told so many white lies, and empty promises that i simply do not believe anything coming from the guys mouth.
Remember guys, we are now talking about a YEAR since the money got to him.
I have an endless line of email, where i have politely, and with patience hoped it will work out, as i truly think the best of any fellow gearhead. Obviously i am sadly mistaken.
I am running a BIG business here in Norway, and heck, if i treated my clients, suppliers, or anyone like this here i would be out of business.
Being 6000 miles away leaves me with few options, and that is exactly what this company, and its representative are exploiting.
Anyone can make mistakes, this isnt a mistake anymore, it is something as simple as a company, and a man not willing to step up and clean up their mess. Just because it is easier not to, and as i said, me being 6000 miles away. What can i do???
I know Will will now send me an email, saying it will be fixed, and that i hopefully can erase this post!! It is bad for the reputation, well it could also be an easy fix.
Well news for you Will, this will be updated day to day, until you have sent me my funds, either by wire, or as soon as my friend in the states have them in hand. I have been a customer of the USA for 25 years, multiple transactions every month, BUT NEVER HAVE I EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS!!
I will me in touch with Ron today and transfer payment to him. I'm not trying to jerk you around and this is my mistake. I'm not going to send you a message and ask this thread be deleted. Just simply post when it is handled.
hmmmm idk.. sounds like an honest mix up to me... I have always gotten perfect customer service from WILL and everyone at RSI... as well as many other around me have received the same. Ive easily put over 5g into RSI's hands... and even 750$ of that money was returned back to me when i didnt need a certain part anymore... when i was having issues with my AEM... will took it in for testing FREE of charge... i got it back days later...
I just dont see the point of posting this type of thread on here.. its like your whining about it... i mean... what the hell is posting it on here going to do???? everyone else around you dont have the same problem with RSI... thats why im sure it must be an honest mistake... there is major money running through RSI's business... im sure you will get your money back...
Stop whining on a Forum and do something about it if you feel like you are really getting jipped..... period

Almost certainly get a quick response from a sometimes unresponsive vendor?
Seems to be fairly effective. JMO.
The OP and I have exchanged some emails this morning. This was something that I thought was resolved. While I was out of town it appears the check I sent him tried to post to our account and our bank flagged it as fraud being that it was cashing through an international bank. They could not contact me and returned the check "For our protection". I was notified by the customer before I even received a notice from our bank and simply failed in my duty to handle this matter. While I typically appreciate a phone call from someone prior to them creating a post like this, I still understand and accept responsibility for this issue. We always try to be fair with all our customers and up front about everything.
Why am i posting here,? Will doesnt outline it to well..
But last time i posted, it had been just 9 months it at least helped me getting a response.
It did today also, i am not a whiner, i am tired of slow processes, this seems to work, and when i am 2450usd short and have been held up getting it back for quite a while, say MONTHS, to half a year, ...
And i have literally 30-+ emails to show for it that i have tried getting a response,, so if it helps me getting it resolved išll go that extra mile.. so anyone thinking this is the wrong way of doing it, should see those before judging
I feel pretty safe saying i do not think anyone else would like this either..
But i will be the first one to give thumbs up once it is taken care off!!
My issue is if you spoke to Will and its resolved why try to trash him. Simply his explanation of bank not accepting the check because international is very exceptable.
9 months isn't an acceptable time frame to get this resolved. It realistically takes 5 minutes to do a wire transfer. Waiting to hear when this is resolved.
If the time line is correct then I understand the frustration. Although sometimes Will is difficult to get a hold of, he always comes through with a great product. He is the only shop that I will allow work on my cars. Hey Will, when are you going to start working on Z06's... lol. but seriously...
Dont blame the OP for the thread. Hes the victim in this and should have been paid long ago. I was out of town, someone else was supposed to do it, my mail girl is slow, stop making excuses and get the payment made. Int'l wire take s a couple days direct, but anything over a week is unacceptable. The fact that he even has to come to the boards is pretty eye opening IMO.
If this was the first thread on RSI, I wouldn't say a word, but it seems like one of these comes up every month at least.
Regardless of all the monthly thread bashings against RSI, I still believe everyone will still go to them just the same. Whether it's posted on here or not, it's all about Supply and Demand!!
This company has a large supply for quality Viper performance parts and the demand for them is high. With not many other companies to choose from, the bashings will be insignificant.

Ever heard of SVS Vipers, TNT Vipers? There are many more and those two were pretty big back in the day. Viper community is very small, word travels fast. Bad customer relations will take a Viper store down much faster than a Vette or Mustang store because there are so many less buyers.

What kind of FUCKING idiot are you. Get you FUCKING head of or Will's ass already. Your post is way FUCKING out of line. The OP has been dealing with this for a year now...that's 365 days of FRUSTRATION...Can you not FUCKING comprehend that?
My head feels like it's going to explode every time I read one of your posts. Go suck Will's dick in the vendor forum already.
