Yea wasnt he in the 20's on ebay at first? I was thinking he was smoking too when I saw the price. It would certainly be a good buy if someone could get it cheap and put it back to normal.
It can be had for $13K, wouldn't be a bad project car.
The current ad says 17.5 but if what you say is true then it's a perfect project car. Just a month or two ago I saw a gen2 engine and trans being sold as a package for around 9K...
They take the pictures down, but I think the dash was also tore up (no air bags, etc.) or maybe it was the other silver GTS with the dash tore up. Can't remember.
