Any one have a stock pushrod laying around?

Well as my build gets closer to being finish I was just going through my parts and noticed I'm missing a push rod. I have no idea where I could be does anyone have one laying around?

If you are building your eninge, why would you be re-installing OEM pushrods? The stockers are JUNK. Spend about $200 and get a set of chromoly 5/16" or 3/8" diameter pushrods in either an .080" or .120" wall thickness. Stock lengths for 92-02 engines are 7.500" and 03-06 engines are 7.600. Do yourself a favor and invest in a stronger pushrod that wont bend...

Aren't your heads ported by Greg Good? I would suggest getting a push rod measurer to make sure stock size push rods still fit. I would also suggest in upgrading the stock ones to 5/16" or 3/8".

I would agree. If you are getting Greg to do your heads, I am guessing you are adding 1.7 RR? Either way, if you are upping performance, get a set of 3/8" pushrods. You can get a set of 10 thru Summit or Jegs for $130. Much less flex than the stock pushrods, but is you want to stick with the stockers, I have several I can send to you.

Well as much as a spend I might as well. Upgrade. If the heads are only getting milled .02" and I running thinner head gaskets can I get away with stock length pushrods? I'm running gen3 rockers btw

The push rods are color coded. the same year could have different length push rods. What is the color band on your push rods? Everyone is right, measure and also verify the contact band on the rocker/rod is in the center. You could have the right length and the contact band could be off.
