My sway bar end link boots are cracked bad. You cant just replace the boots so I called a dealer and got the following quote for end link replacement
Front - $202 x 2
Rear - $175 x 2
Labor - 317 (3 hours)
Alignment - $200
$1271
I will probably use Snake Oyls end links because they are about 1/2 that cost
but is an alignment really necessary? Is 3 hours a fair estimate in labor?
I feel like when you say Viper its like dropping chum in the water for some dealer rip off pricing.
Amazon has the Moog part listed on ebay @ $37, for $25 shipping included.
Summit Racing lists lots of replacement boots of different dimensions, but you would have to have a link in your hand to measure to see if one of the boots would fit.
I got mine front and rear from Rock auto. $19.35 each for rear and $22.79 each fronts. They were Moog I believe. Plus they have the 5% off coupon if you google it.
Did mine in my driveway. Took maybe 3 hours start to finish. While doing them I also installed Roe Urethane sway bar mounts for $22.23 per set.
If you are in Houston ill do it for a fat check haha. Mine with the new mounts was under $200 in parts. You most deff won't need an alignment. You don't even touch anything that would jack with the alignment. F'in dealer bending you over.

search sway bar end links on ebay, aftermarkets a full set can be had for around $200, and moog ones are greaseable
I just finished installing these a week ago. I replaced both front/rear links with these from Paul Scharf. The rears are indentical to stock and come with a better nut than the stock one. The front links do have a grease fitting on them and are the same length as the OEM, but the threads are a little long. They don't hit anything, just look a little wierd. I am going to chop them down a little because I really don't like how they look installed.
I'll take a pic when I get home tonight, so you can see what they look like.
Pretty good deal for 75 bucks for the pair either front or back.
