Dodge build the Gen 2 right. It doesn't take a lot to make big power. Also with such a huge ci, you can do it at lower boost levels and the engine will take a beating much longer than a I6 or I-4 making the same power because the cyl pressure is much lower making it easier on rings, gaskets and valves.
