I think that the better question is, does anyone know of a place that knows how to do it safely?
My buddy is actually a dealer for plasti-dip, its about $80 to get the plasti-dip and the machine to coat the wheels. It is hard to do a good job just spraying the wheels from the cans, he sells the actual machine that coats it properly. You can make any color... we did my buddies Porsche GT3 wheels, have lasted a year of driving and tracking with no issues. Kind of a cheapo way to go though....

I remember seeing these wheels on ebay from the guy in Chicago right? Or somewhere in Illinois..... he had some neg. feedback on ebay. If there are cracks in the magnesium wheels you might as well throw them away or do this:
I just had them checked out and there good to go. Talk to s local guy who is going to bead blast, them down the scratches, put a thicker primer and a black base coat then use hydro graphics to overlay a carbon fiber pattern then several coats of clear. If they turn out half as good as my intake and valve covers there going to look sick

if they are the bbs from ebay 18x12 +20 & 18x10 +20 what gen car are you putting them on? gen2 02?, how do the rears fit, i talked to him a couple times, but it looked like they would stick out in the rear, i have a front one and they fit gen2 front ok, i used a 1" spacer to guess at the how the rear would fit and they stuck out about 1" out of the fenders. I had thought the Gen2 ACR BBS wheels were magnesium?
From what I can tell the fronts will fit ok they will be pretty flush. I'm going to run 305 up front so that a plus. The rears seem to fit the sane way. I talked to steve from vipair and he ran them on a gen 2 like mine and said they worked great
i have one of the fronts, and if you mount it on the back it fits perfect, but its a 18x10 +20, i emailed with bbs, and sent the part number from the box i had, bbs told me the matching rear was 18x12 + 20, so i added the 1" spacer to split the 2" difference in width and it stuck out, and the 305 on a 18x10 is going to have a fat side wall, 305-315 fit pretty good on a 11" wide, you might be better with a 285 or 295

I just took a few pics to show you it's about as flush as you can get. Any more and they would stick out. I would prefer more inset but for 1700 I can't complain to much

I think your right. A 295 might be better. If the rear does stick out it's by maybe 1/8". I was think I might be able to take these to a machine shop and have then machine 1/8" of the mounting surface?
damn, i almost bought those they are great looking wheels. when i emailed with him he was absolutely no help in helping me determine fitment, his one email was just that they are a good deal and i should buy them and figure out if they fit, and then i asked if he could measure the back spacing and he told me to come there and do it my self, or bring the car, so i just said screw it, since i didnt think they would fit well
