quote=Disturbed 01;1566667]No. You will need to use a set of Gen2 brackets.
If you can just pick up the Gen 3 seats as it's easier. If you go with the SRT4 seats mostlikey you will need to have them recovered (They say SRT4 on them) and you have to re-use your old brackets making your Gen2 seats just about worthless to re-sale.[/quote]
I am doing the same and have started the project. The seats I am installing are 2008 or 2009. The seat date is late 2008. To make these specific seats work you have to remove the four end brackets. Those are actually welded to the track. I used a hand cutoff wheel to remove them. There is no reason to remove the track
Once you have the brackets off the seat will drop about 1-1/2" in the rear. That will make the seats useable. I am using 3/16 X 1-1/2 stock as adapters to mate the rear of the track with the oem mounting holes. I will post some pics before I mount them. There are actually two threaded bolt holes in the rear of the track that allow you to bolt the new adapters to the track. All this allows you to use the oem SRT track and GenII oem floor mountings.
I am doing something similar in the front, but, you have to make that mount adjustable up/down so the seats fit the driver correctly. I have a couple brackets in mine, but, will have to wait till I mount the rear brackets before I fab the fronts. I have some pictures on the other web site of the new seat sitting in position.
