Better engine cooling

I drive my '97GTS in traffic a lot. Stop & go driving. I get stuck in long lines of traffic that doesn't move. The stock single fan does not seem adiquate for this kind of driving. What is a good replacement option for increased engine cooling?
There is no problem with highway cooling. The fan is operating, but I want something better than stock.

I designed a triple fan setup to add 2 fans to the stock one i.e. triple fans. Cools great. I have a DIY writeup here if you are a handy mofo.

I added another radiator under the car next to the tranny. It has 2 fans on it.

Are you sure your fan is going into high speed.

...also, make sure there's no air in the cooling system.

I'm looking into getting my exhaust coated by Jet Hot to reduce the heat inside the car.

I was thinking that there was some after market replacement fan(s) that would easily replace the stock fan.
Yes, the fan does go into high rpm.
According to the temp gauge, the engine never gets too hot, but I just don't want to damage the engine due to long term heat from inadiquate airflow.

While doing my twin turbo build on my 97 GTS.. temps were a main concern of mine. I spoke to all the reputable High Performance Fan companies like SPAL etc etc... and im TELLING YOU... that no other fans even come close to flowing the same CFM as your stock fan... the VIPER RAD FAN is probably one of the best made.... if your viper is overheating.... at redlights.. traffic etc etc.. then your fan might be malfunctioning... you could possibly have a blown head gasket.. or... your thermostat might be malfunctioning.. i would also check your RAD.. could possibly need cleaned (gunked up inside)....

when my viper was stock with a full exhaust.. and a 180 degree thermostat.. on 97 degree days.. the car barely broke 200 degrees... in dead stop traffic for 3 hours.....

check these things out man... but if you wanted added assurance.. you could always stick 1 or 2 smaller motorcycle fans under the car in front of the engine.. customs brackets will have to be made... but... i really dont think you will need them.
