Sometimes, randomly, when I try to shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear, it just won't. I mean, it really won't go into 2nd gear. It will go from 1st to 3rd and back down to 2nd. Any idea why? Then, what is the fix?

How long have you had the car? If the rpm is low the computer forces a 1-4 shiftthere is somethinb called a skip shift eliminator you can buy for chead on ebay. Ps you will have a yellow arrow on your display everytime this happens.
