Cleaning out some spare parts. At least the larger ones. It has damage along the front, and has a crack at one of the hinge attachment points. That in itself - the hinge area - is enough to call the hood non repairable. However, if you are doing some bizarre intake project or god only knows what else, and want to do fitment work with a disposable hood, it is in fine shape for something like that; it is remountable w/o question. It has been stripped of everything. It is as bare as it can be. So don't ask about the vents or speaker grills or hinges or anything else.
If you want to come to Fort Worth it is yours. I have no idea if I could strap it on on the Super Duty, but I'll be making a few trips to Austin around the holidays if any of you southern homies have some shit up your sleeve. I will otherwise saw it in half and give it to the dumpster trolls.

Difference is, when Dave made a thread saying free damaged hood he was actually giving away a free hood not asking for someone to give him a free damaged hood.
I don't have a spare NACA duct. The only thing that quickly comes to mind in the dept of spare hood parts collection at casa Dave, is I do have one too many sets of the wheelwell vents. They are not broken. I also have some of the rollers and guides, but haven't like inventoried those yet. For now, I was just thinking get that big fucking hood out from behind the shed because I have a different hood to put back there. I'm like a hood ho I guess.
can you send me some pictures, I might be interested in some of the corners of the hood. I will of course compensate you and pay for shipping.
Um, oh great sir, the hood really doesn't have detachable corners. Nor if they were sawed off using my Moodie saw, would they really be reattachable somewhere's else. Like on another hood with broken bits here and there on the corners.
I wanted it for my Whipple project but the time-distance-delivery equation is a bit of a challenge right now. FYI I'm in the middle of machining my intercooled ROE manifold right now...gonna be sweet!
