Water tank came in yesterday, came out very nice.

This is a 7.5 gallon tank w/ larger pump. I believe the standard tank with the system comes with is a 6 gallon tank, I chose the upgraded tank only because I liked the look of it vs the square type tank.

Here's a few shots of it. Should start the actual TT system soon...

Here is how it will look in the after installed. I like how the you still have room in the trunk to place things.

Looks good, when is the system projected to be completed by? I take it you might have to wait out the winter a bit though seeing as you're in NM that wont be long.

Thanks, it's really going to be a really nice system when finished.

Judging by what I've been told, I'm going to say roughly 3 more weeks till it's sitting at my front door. Once this manifold gets casted/machined Paolo will be able to rock and roll.

Yes, winters do not last but a couple months here, definitely would like to finish it before then and see how this beast rides!!

Looking like business Eugene. Machine welds on that tank make it look like a piece art. I can't wait to see this all come together.

Not sure who did the tank but they really did some nice welds as you can see.

Talked with CPE today, they said that they like the tank so much, that it will be included when you buy their system

Finally had a chance to start installing the water tank.

Changed out the lid to black because I did not really care for the white. Had to re-drill and tap the holes for the screws. I think it looks alot better.

There was others ways I could have done this install, but didn't think of it until after I was finished. Came out nice!

All that's left is to finish installing the pump, wiring and route the hoses to the intercooler.

Still going to be a little bit longer till this system is completely finished. I'll post more as it comes. From what Ive been told, manifolds should be done next week, then has to go to the machine shop, then they will start doing the piping for the cold side.

Here's some pics of the tank install

Just made a simple template out of some paper to mark where to cut the holes.
Like my tape job?? Ran out of tape as you can see...

Traced the inside of the holes with some white-out for easy cleanup.

I cut on each side so you could fold the carpet inside. This way if were to ever remove the tank one day so your not left with a hole.

I punched a hole in the center to use as a guide and used a 1 1/2" hole saw to cut the opening.

All cleaned up!

The aft bolt uses a carriage bolt with a washer in the original spare tire mount.
Put the bolt in first the place the tank in and put the nut and washer on.

This will put the tank into position to mark the 2 front holes. More to follow...

Installed the pump this morning, turned to out to be a little more difficult than I thought trying to squeeze it in there. I wish they would have installed the pump first, then finished the rest of the tank instead of trying to get it in there afterwards. Oh well...

I also had to relocate the wiring outlet because it was not going to work where it was originally placed.

Still have to go get some terminals for the wiring and finish routing it...

Here's some pics..

Good question! Should be seeing the turbo system here in the next 2 to 3 weeks I'm hoping and then putting that in.

This weekend I'm just finishing some wiring on the tank, front mounting bolts, testing the pump out to make sure it works. Just little minor stuff.

Not cast iron, Colonel's special recipe!!
I was thinking they were going weigh as much as a set of old school cast iron heads. I'll weigh the stock manifolds to see the weight comparison.

Lifetime guarantee with these babies!!
