CC question

I am fairly new to viper's so for give me if i say something stupid (my car is only a I-6). But i have been searching on the net for a while and i cant seem to find a good soild answer. And that is will (and if so, how many?) CC will be made in 2008? and where can i get some info on the new gen CC?

There is no commitment to make a comp coupe based on the 2008 Viper.

There have been just about 100 +/- comp coups produced.

Hmm, thats a bit of a bummer. How big of a diffrence is there from the 07 to the 08 viper?

2006 was the last year for production and they picked back up in 2008 with the new slight changes.

Is there any huge diffrences? or is the 2006 & 2008 basically the same? Also why is it these cars weigh so much?

Comp Coupes are built base on deposits rec'd. They are not built based on speculation.

The comp coupe is for the super hardcore racer. You need to trailer it to the track. The upcoming ACR will do a great job at the track, and can be driven there instead of being trailered. The comp coupe look freakin wicked though.

The 08, hell, the 06 even had a better HP to Weight ratio than any factory produced supra. So the real question is why did Toyota build the supra and under power it?

The Viper also weighs less than the Supra.

About 100 HP difference.

2006 had 8.3L and 510hp

2008 Has 8.4L and 600hp

Weight is not that bad at all, it's 2008 buddy and days of sub 3000lbs(or anywhere near there for the price) cars are gone thanks to government safety regulations.

2008 weighs in at 3,460Lbs

and ACR edition will be around 3,400lbs.
