I've been hearing from some people that 100 Steet Legal Comp. Coupe will be made in 2008 for the GT2s 10th Anninversary, is this true?

I Think They Are Going To Deliver 100 White With Blue Stripe Srt Coupes At The Voi In Vegas. One Of The Options Is A Comp Coupe Motor - After You Sign Away On A Lot Of Paper Work Including No Warranty.

So we're talking an SRTC with a CC motor---not a street legal CC. If that's the case, it is lame as shit.

that is my understanding. SRTC with the option of having a CC motor (480 rw hp on a good day). probably cost 100k too.

That is gay as fuck. Good old Dodge is back at slapping yet another "limited edition" on the SRT. I am down for a solid white coupe , but dropping in a 708 cam, mopar headers probably, and a Mopar PCM for an extra 20K ....
I guess some tools on the Morg will be all over these.

at least if it has more hp it is not just another badge and sticker special. this is the type of car that will become collectable as a contrast to 200-300 of any special color car with some colored stitching with some engraved console plaque. also we all know that the '08 viper will be packing more hp also, DCX trying to push a few more of the current SRT's out the door, and pick up some if any bragging rights against the new Z06. If it is not a street legal car i think besides the collector value i do no know its purpose, who is going to race a street car of such limited production when you can race a CC

Can't you already have essentially the CC motor in your Coupe by adding the Mopar cam, headers, ECU, exhaust to the car at the factory? I don't understand the advantage..

Sure those mods only add 20 horse...never mind the different (larger) injectors, no cats, 100 octane race fuel, shorty exhaust,different cold air intake, plus the above mentioned mods in the post above. I am sure of that is only more 20 horse....wink wink, at least that is what Dodge motorsports tells SCCA Pro Racing. But what would I know...

i've been told from the horses mouth that the motor option(yes option not all of the white /blues had the motor option) were conservatively rated at 580 hp(that included the nudge nudge wink wink) cam, pcm control flash, bellanger headers, and poss the light flywheel
