I see were digging up old threads again... and the fact that anyone would bother quoting ANY car magazine as "fact" needs to be evaluated.
Of course a true CC beats the R because it's much more a race car then anything else.. in fact thats all it is just like the GTSR's of LeMans.

The cobra R's to me were one of the most over hyped and over priced mustangs around. If he wants a mustang to even be able to somewhat compete with a comp coupe the best bet would be the new Roush 427 Trak Pak.

I'm sure I'll get more neg rep for posting on an "old" thread.

However, I would argue that an S197 S281E would provide a better run for a CC than any Roush 427. Even a Trak Pak 427.
