Last year there was much confusion about the event and as a result it had some problems. I decided this year since no one has gone ahead and rented the track, I was going to take the initiative and do so. The track was already reserved for most of the month in December and the weekends all spoken for. We were lucky because Andy (sonofadragracer) was able to finally get us a weekend date. It is December 13th.
I have a lot of details too still work out. The biggest problem is, most people not wanting to send their money in early. This hinders with planning the event since many vendors want to see head counts before pledging a commitment. This is why I am asking for at least a good faith deposit in advance from all who normally attend or would like to do so.
Supporting vendors so far include Adam (AB) of Quality Wires with not 1 set of wires, but 9 sets. One for each generation and color.
Jon B of Partsrack has generously offered to donate(3) $150 gift certificates. He has pledged to consider increasing the offer after seeing the turnout of cars planning to attend.
I am working currently with several other vendors and with the help of some of my Viper friends this will be a fun filled weekend for both racers and family attendees.
Food - The concession stand will be closed and we will provide food and beverages. I hear we might even have someone step up and sponsor that so we don’t have to stick to potato chips and soda pop.
Lodging- We have in past years determined the Hampton Inn to be both close too the track and comfortable too our needs. Group rates will be made availabe based off our pre-registered participants.
Any questions or suggestions can be made to myself publicly or through pm.
This Saturday in Tampa we are having a VCA lunch and I will be recruiting some of their members to the dark side or at least too Bradenton for the day. Since Ward has plans he will receive a call tonight.

Post looks great Richie. Finally, someone took the initiative and is planning to do this event justice again. Thanks buddy. Any thing I can do....just ask.
Hmmm, this looks promising for sure. I will to check the schedule at the station to see if anyone has that vacation already spoken for. If I hauled my ass all the way to houston I suppose I could make it to Bradenton if I can get the time off. Make for a nice winter break.

The stock classes normally have the most people. Anyone who has a stock car or slightly modded this event is for you. This is something that was prepared last year I believe by Mike98RT10. We can use this formula or I am open to any suggestions. This race is not about me or anyone in particular. This is our circle of friends. If you dislike someone know is the time to set up a grudge race.
Joe Dell and Josh
Heffner car against a UGR car
Mike99RT10 against everyone.
Tony you were the last one to beat me back in 06 in my class so I want a rematch.
Stock 12.0 +
Fast Street 11.00 - 11.99
Super Street 10.30 - 10.99
Pro Street 9.80 - 10.29
Eliminator 9.20 - 9.79
Pro Eliminator 8.50 - 9.19
Unlimited: Whatever you can bring...
If interested I can put together a pro tree eliminator. It will be a bracket race, on a pro tree (blinders must be on the tree). Makes bracket racing fun. You can dial your car whatever you want and it lets slower cars be equal to faster cars.
