I read "repost" and am thinking WTF? I am the guy who sent the video to Youtube! It is amazing how fast people find certain videos!
Wild weekend, that's for sure! Expensive too. But tomorrow we begin the "rebuild/replace" process. I already have a new car in line to replace it for my next event, and I also have 75-80% of the body parts found to repair (if it can be repaired).
Really sorry to hear about your crash. I have raced at Nelson Ledges a lot and that place can bite cars real bad. Unfortunately, I had a similar crash to yours there several years ago.

But like everybody said, I am glad that your ok.

Thanks sweetie.
I was initially very embarrassed about the incident, but so many good drivers like yourself have shared their similar experiences that I am beginning to sense this is "part of the game."
I once asked Mike Gerriga (Fred Baker's crew chief) a question about Freddie ever cracking a car up; the response from him was comical. As in "Oh my gawd, has he!"
Damn David - that was terrible. Your agonizing screams added to the effect.
I just hate it when the back end steps out and then snaps back as you try to feather the throttle and save it. Same story with me at Road America when I hip-checked the INSIDE wall after the Kink. Fortunately, I was able to drive it back around and get it repaired pretty easily.
