SPEED TV'S Fastest Street Car Shootout

Hi guys,
I had the honor of attending SPEED TV's Fastest Street Car Shootout last Saturday night. There where many fast cars at the event. I had the pleasure to meet with John Hennessey and see his amazing Twin Turbo Ford GT and Twin Turbo Viper in action. Here is a teaser video of what is about to come....enjoy

Wild....looks like he was charging HARD after you when he lost it. You could hear it lighting the tires up.

Actually that was not me he was chasing....He said he hit the scramble boost and then lost it...drag radials did not hook at that speed!! I raced that white porsche in the finals and blew his doors off =)

I will definitely post the air time and date... He came so close to taking out some military choppers as well as some cars... I was standing right next to John when she went for a spin and the I could feel the 'Oh Shit' there she goes ora in the air!

ha ha, well its just one of those physics things. our car was coming around the porsche when the driver hit the high boost button (1150 rw hp) and the car spun at about 125 mph. we had run high boost in 4th earlier in the day when it was warmer and it hooked up fine in 4th. but the cooler nite air gave us more power and less traction. also, there was a lot of dust on the runway which gets stirred up from the car in front.

the porsches are hard to beat on a fast, short autocross course like this. i cant give any more details about the final outcome. but it was a very excited event and just wait til you see it in Speed TV soon.

ha ha, well he wishes he was a pro driver. in reality, he is a very good driver. next time we go to an autocross we probably shouldnt try to run drag radials!
