simply put a well balanced car wins. if you want to talk pitiful, how about porsche's little 6 cylinders handing both vipers and vette's their asses on a regular basis, or ferrari's little displacement v8's. i would HOPE that the viper would outperform a c6 z06 with all the tweaks that have occured plus 95 more horsepower and about 100ftlbs of torque. i have all the respect in the world for Vipers and what they are capable of. but it's cocky idiots like you that blow this stuff out of proportion.

If you knew anything about road racing, you would know that Vipers must be handicapped with added weight and choking of the intake or they would kick the ever living piss out of your Porsches, Ferraris and so on, as they did in the late 90's. The ET is one thing but to me 130Mph traps don't add up with the vehicles weight and Hp.
he literally was running in perfect conditions. his d/a i think was -1100 feet or so, a cool 50ish degree weather day. he just couldn't ask for anything better. but i do have some doubts in my mind as well about the 130 trap.
i agree. i talked about it with some people for a good while one night. some of them even did a crap load of calculations and what not. i guess no one but the owner of the car will ever truly know.
