Hey Peter,

I must have missed you at the event, I was there on Sat from about 11 to 4. I'll be participating next time, just purchased a 2006 SRT10 coupe (blue/white) today to play with.

Later,
Tony @ LS1TECH

I think he ran in the mid 190's, but had to stop after his front clip was damaged.

Question for Gary Javo / the drivers.

Watching the vids, it seems due to it being so wide open it wouldn't 'feel' that you were running over 200 plus mph.

Lack of relative sense of motion.

Curious as to what 'felt' faster? / More of an adrenaline rush ?
A rip in the 1/4 in one of these cars with the walls close by, or a 200 plus rip in the wide open?

Also, did you stop and take temp readings on your tires ??
Saw a top speed test in Germany of the Bugatti and they pulled over repeatedly and took the temps of the tires. Somehow very relevant in top end tests ?
Not sure of the physics behind it, but didn't see that in any of the vids.

Cheers either way gents !

Two questions:
1) Where are these vids?
2) I think they were trying NOT to kill their test driver. The Veyron, another
