I just saw where McLaren was fined 1.5M for the spy scandal?

It sounds like it all started back in Australia where Charlie Whiting basically swept it under the rug until Mike Coughlins wife took the documents to a public copy place where she was caught.

Fast forward to the first trial where Mclaren were let go with a slap on the wrist, fast forward a few months where some emails popped up between the Mclaren drivers and a new trial was held today. I guess Mclaren was fined 100 mil and stripped of their constructor points for the season and they have to prove that no Ferrari data made it onto next years car.

One question a lot of people still have is how did the FIA find out about the emails??
