Anyone Up for a Track Day at Hallett Near Tulsa?

Hi All:

I've got an itch to get back to Hallett (near Tulsa) and am thinking we could do this very inexpensively with around 25-30 drivers on Monday, October 29, 2007.

Essentially we show up, drive all day stopping only for new brake pads, bathroom breaks, food and fuel. Cost no more then $200 per driver. Plan on seven(7) twenty-five minute run sessions per group. No instructors, just lapping!

I used to race an unlimited superbike there back in the 80s and 90s , how is the track surface these days?

By the way Viper Spray, they recently did some repaving of the track surface. Supposedly much imprived since I was there in 2006.

Hallett is a great track.....I had keys to the track gate when Mike Stevens was alive....put on several races on the track years ago....it is a great track.....my car will not be back by the 29th but I will come out and watch and take loads of pictures.
