SWEET VID, but comon...a parachute? I guess you guys have bigger plans for the car and were planning ahead? with the brakes on these things??? oh well, w/a chute it does look mean! what's the setup on this car?

By memory, NHRA rules require a chute over 140 mph. There have been a lot of Vipers running without proper safety equip, and it's great to see Dan do it right.

I saw a car hit the wall at Infineon road course this weekend on a corner with a stuck throttle at 120 mph. That driver was really happy to have a great cage and belts.

Sounds like it was having shifting problems.

I'm sure it has more in it as built motor with an auto should easily go nines without a blower.

how does this equal 143mph?

is this an N/A build or something ?

I went more than 10mph faster ( 153.XX mph ) with my street car, on street 18" tires, 6 speed, and i drive it almost daily as well. Its in the parking lot now, with grocery's in it. On only the second pass (and last pass) i made.
