I will be racing Viperuk's Ariel Atom in it. He has graciously agreed to ship it over and provide me with a full crew of limey bastards with rotten teeth.
And next year I will be campaigning Fast Freddie's FGT.
If your driving I am going. I heard you are having fast Freddy and his drag queens cheering for you also. Dam Bobby you really don't give a fuck who it is pulling for you as long as there wearing a dress. If I wrote this on the VCA board would I be banned?

I am leaving for FL tomorrow afternoon. I want to catch the Koni Challenge race (that just doesn't sound right) on Friday. I almost bought a 3-car Porsche team, but wanted to wait and see the cars perform.
I will be hanging with the Nunomaker/Team Sahlen group.
That race and series is horrible, Nascar really needs to go away and die. I know racing is racing but it is hard to get into a series where the cars look like crap.
I'm not picking up on the link here. What does the ALMS and 24hrs of Daytona have to do with NASCAR?
You dont think any of the Nascar people had anything to do with the start up of GARRA? The ALMS has nothing to do with the Daytona race because GARRA made those cars illegal.
Ok, I see your point now. Yes the Daytona prototypes are some ugly cars, but the series isn't horrible. There are almost 90 cars running at Daytona this weekend.
In contrast there will less than half as many running at Sebring in March. And as hot as the Aston Martin looks that two-make GT1 field is hardly what I would call exciting. Sure once in a while somebody finds enough scratch to enter a Saleen or maybe Lambo to run a couple races but they end up being also-rans.
I must also say as fast and pretty as that Audi diesel was last year it wasn't real exciting not hearing it go by.

I am not excited about the car count the ALMS has either but I firmly place that blame on GARRA, there really was no need to break away like that, sure racing is expensive but you should know that going in. The open wheel split has been well documented and has done nothing for either series and sports car racing is following the same path.
The diesels are something else arent they, I watched a clip of the Pug 208 yesterday and it is just as quiet of not more than the Audi.
You can also place the blame on the manufactures also, Dodge could easily make the comp coupe legal for the ALMS yet they wont do it, Ford could have made the GT legal also yet they didnt do it. Maseratti could have made the MC12 legal from the beginning instead of trying to wiggle around like they did two years ago and they didnt. The S7 is a hell of a car but because it started to show some speed a few years ago they restricted the hell out of it and thats why no one runs it over here, there are at least 3 teams running them over seas however.
I will give the Prodrive/Aston guys credit though for sticking around with that car, kinda funny when the DB9 and the C6 were running the same weight and tires the DB9 was having no problems winning.
Kinda pissed me off at the beginning of the race they did not show any footage of the glory days of the race expect when they showed Gurney winning it. Then again if they would have shown the Group C cars or the cars from the mid 90's people would have started asking questions and well Nascar docent like it when they get questioned.
