I don't care if Boiler thinks the cars are ugly. That was a fun race to watch.
It was my first Rolex 24 and it was cool that we could go into the garage area and watch them try to repair the cars when they broke.
Gordon's car was in second with about an hour to go and was gaining on Montoya when he screwed the pooch in the first turn and flat spotted the tires (supposedly brake problems). He lost his position and a chance at the win.
We were pulling against the Citgo car that finished 2d.
I was also surprised at how well the RX-8s ran. One of them finished in the top 15.
