yo dog who the hell r u? i m betting ur just another slo ass old dude who cant even afford a viper, suckin the knobs of any high HP car on this forum.
Serial Smacker RyanevO has discovered the joy of tracking a well setup Evo so try and understand his "frame of mind". I've been racing and tracking an Evo for two years now and can't compare it objectively cuz it's the only car I've tracked in much. I took my new(for me anyhow, it's a '97 GTS/race prepped) Viper to the infield at CalSpeedway for a quick shakedown, my first time ever in a Viper a month ago.
It is certainly different than my Evo. Spun the fucking thing backwards entering turn one. I wasn't even trying to go fast. My buddy was driving behind me and knew the rear end was going to snap around. I, as the driver, hadn't A CLUE until I was going backwards. I know, I know but at least I had the sense not to be out racing it. Yet. I'll chime in and post a candid comparison, from my personal experience at least, sometime next season.
Most of my track time in '07 will be in a Viper. It outta be an interesting year.
before i could afford my viper i ran a stage one evo 7 FQ300. Must have been around 330 HP at the crank and i must say it felt a damn site quicker than my last car which was a stage one R33 GTR skyline.
while i am very proud to be able to own my dream car now ill never lose respect for what the evos can do.
Are you running that power on the stock displacement ryan or have you had it stroked? I have seen how expensive it can get to tune evo blocks past 380hp at the crank
