Re: SS Brake Lines

That's a hell of a price. I did a set from scratch with Aeroquip hose and fittings and my materials cost alone was around $220.

Re: SS Brake Lines

I'm somewhat a novice when it comes to that upgrade. Did braided brake hoses on my Fireblade (Honda CBR 900RR) but afterwards i didn't think it was worth the money. Never noticed *that* much of a difference. Perhaps i didn't drive my bike to the fullest? How is the difference in a viper?

Re: SS Brake Lines

The Viper responds well to the upgrade. A much more firm pedal is felt and will allow you to better modulate the pedal while searching for the threshold.

Re: SS Brake Lines

The rubber lines expand a bit and make the brake pedal a bit mushey and the braded lines are a lot safer if you hit something in the road they are not likly to rip off from the brake caliper and they don't crack.
