2 - 2.5 mile initially. could become as long as 3.5 mile several years down the road. texas world is a great track but the value of the land at tws will mean that at some point its more valuable as something other than a road race track. when that happens hopefully lonestar will have something as long as the tws 2.9 mile course.

Currently Lonestar operates as a 1/8 mile dragstrip and has a food concession stand as well as race fuel concession. Over the next 5 years we plan to expand to make Lonestar Motorsports Park a true multi-purpose racing facility. Our future plans include:

What you have is an old 1/8 mile strip with a new name and grand plans. Give me a call when somebody is ready to spend some money and built something real.

I wish I had a dollar for every time I've heard about a "new roadcourse in Texas." The only one that turned to rock, asphalt and racing in the last 10 years is the Motorsports Ranch.
