ya it wasnt a pretty site guys, when the thing popped the only thing stopping the metal hitting me was the laptop when ended up with soome very nice tears in the screen backing, were currently fixing the jeep at the moment, the transmission was brand new and had really only done a little bit of dyno work with this new tranny, in thinking back we probably should have pulled the trans out the week before as when the shop doing some other repairs on the vehicle from some previous shop, they noticed the trans doing a couple of weird things like feeling like it was caught between gears, but they told me when they went to move the car the next time it was sweet and really showed no other real problems after that until the day at the track. Personally i would love to send the trans away to someone to give me the reason why it failed, as the transmission builder wasnt very interested in coming to see it.
