Question Thoughts on 06 SRT 10 OPTIONS

I have a reg cab 06 srt10. Been looking at different air intake options and possible changing the exhaust.
Seem the air intake system that connects to the hood scoop is the best power option? and as for the exhaust, meaner sound is what I am trying to get, but I am not sure which products are best and which ones if any will not effect my factory warranty.
Any IDEAS or thoughts would be great.
thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,
Congrats on the Ram SRT10.
Cold air intakes won't do much, if anything for these trucks. If you get one for bling purposes just get one that you like the looks of. The scoop is not really functional for ram air effect, it just allows some cool air into the engine compartment.
B&B and Magnaflow are probably the most popular choices for a catback exhaust. Several header choices out there (Belanger, Mopar, Bassani, Gibson). The best hp bang for the buck is eliminating the 4 cats and going either 2 hi flow cats or no cats. A computer flash from DC Performance or BG Chrysler will also wake up the truck a bit.

Here's a link to the best RAM SRT10 site out there. You can learn just about anything you want to know about these trucks here....
