David....i had a very similar problem with my Paxton. The soultiion was to pressurize the entire system and found lots of leaks. Sealed them.....and then Boost was stable at the design pressure. I would check yours for this.

Exactly what I am about to do. I just found a cracked weld in one of the "heat shields". Lots of brackets and such welded to the intercooler. All hose connections have been checked so now I am going to pressure up the system and see what I can come up with. I am putting together some tools to do it with. Thanks for the tip.
