Calling out all major tuners

This is just to get some info. Has any of the major tuners on here done any work with the SRT10 Rams? David at ART is doing mine and almost done. I heard underground is working on one, but how about Heffner, SVS, Macedo, or others, or do you have interest in doing any Rams? The SRT 10 forum is going south rapidly and if ya'll are interested I may be able to persuade a few to come this way. thanks for reading.

We do need more choices regarding FI. I have been waiting over a year for something viable, other than the paxton....that is reasonably priced. I'm hoping/waiting for a ROE solution also.

The top mount version is doing well I heard. Sean likes to runem into the ground just to make sure they work nicely. I wish Paxton would have done that much RnD before releasing their kit. Specifically I wish they would have adressed the heat soak issue. Im sure Roe will include water meth with their kit with the VEC. What up Stinker

I don't work for Sean but a little leg work brings a lot of results.

Cheers,

I have been keeping in touch with Sean. The word last week was, "Working on the first customer truck it's going on now. It's an automatic and there are some problems with the automatic build and cam spec the customer wanted.
Once that's resolved, the kit is going on.
This project is at the top of our daily priority list".

Blake - you lost me man? The Roe unit isn't even intercooled last I heard....

If you think a non-intercooled autorotor twin screw blower bolted right on top of the engine is going to do better on heat soak I think your in for a major let down.

Meth is a patch at best - not to mention its corrosive properties - and it certainly doesn't take the place of a proper intercooler setup. I won't Meth on my ride.

You are misinformed regarding your opinion of water/meth cooling properties.

Hey Wommer,
I wasnt saying that the Roe unit was any better about the heat soak problem, I was just saying I wish Paxton had addressed it. On the Meth deal I think you are way off base on that one. i know where you get that opinion from cuz Boomer told me that as well.. I did multiple things to adress the problem. I did a much larger chargecooler, and double sized intercooler, and I upgraded the top up tank to 1.5 times the stock Paxton size. on top of that i did the meth, flash, and dual electric fans. So, i tried to correct the problem from many different angles, not just with meth. How's your motor coming bro?

Thanks man. The motor is done and I should be able to drop it off at Boomers this week.

As far as the Roe unit...its one of those "i'll beleive it when I see it" things. I've seeen probably 8 or so Gen II Roe SCs and I've never been blown away.

I had forgotten that you actually had had experience with the Paxton. I'm not saying it can't be improved significantly. I am improving it a great deal in my application.

I'm just saying that folks who think this other solution is gonna fix heat soak...will be dissappointed.

With regard to the meth - those were my thoughts on meth before I ever met Boomer. An application making only 6-8 pounds of boost should not need meth...
