Our technicians are Brad Fagan and Jarrett Humphreys. Jarrett had a twin turbo Viper GTS way back before it was all the rage. He's modified every kind of exotic I can think of, and is pretty much a legend in the Supra community for the first 11, 10, 9, and 8 second Supra in the country. Along with Brad's Viper knowledge comes extensive Ferrari experience. He has worked with Jarrett since 1999 and Jarrett has 15 years of aftermarket experience installing turbos, superchargers, and built engines. I've yet to see any mechanical problem that they are ill-equipped for and Jarrett is one of the finest tuners in the country.
There isn't anyone in the industry I'd rather have working on the projects than our current team
So will you honor the warranty and/or promises on previous RSI builds or just on those that the new company is doing?
We aren't turning our backs on any prior customers and are handling each situation on a case by case basis. Racing Solutions is and will continue to be straightforward with all of our customers. We do not offer warranty on performance builds for a reason. There are a myriad of reasons why something can go wrong and it is so easy for someone to run the wrong fuel or crank up the boost or just beat the hell out of a car then pull the warranty card for a new engine.
We are confident enough in our work that we don't need to offer a warranty. Every build is unique, like a fingerprint. Some cars are built for endurance, drag, top speed, show/cruising, and some are totally built hardcore racers. A car that is built under the premise of "i want to make a lot of power that I won't use very often at all, I just want to know its there" and then gets taken to 8 hour track days twice a week obviously might have some problems. It might be okay or it might blow a diff or overheat because it simply wasn't built for that venue because the customer had a certain budget in mind. Without a warranty the customer has responsibility and we have a reputation to uphold. If all of our customers get mad and never spend money with us again then we would have a real problem. So far the great majority of our customers have been thoroughly satisfied with our service and commitment to their RSI experience.
Anything from gift certificates to discounts for customer loyalty. We have an RSI800 car coming in for an RSI1500 build because the customer was very happy with their prior experience and we want to honor that. Long story short, there are great things on the horizon.
I just wanted you guys to know that I take this very seriously and will do the right thing, whatever the cost, if we are at fault. I know how important it is for the dream car to be exactly what you envisioned and if you ask any of our customers that I've dealt with they will tell you that we make every effort to ensure their expectations are not only met but exceeded.

Quote of the year.
Let me elaborate, all of the parts we carry have a manufacturers warranty therefore if a part was found to be defective it would be covered by the manufacturer. All of our cars are thoroughly tested before they leave to ensure that all parts are installed correctly and the vehicle is running properly before leaving our facility. Years of experience in this industry has shown that many times failures are the fault of the customer and this is why we cannot offer a no questions asked warranty but if we are ever at fault or there is a manufacture defected item, we would do everything within reason to solve the issue.
Cliffs notes: Its all on a case by case basis but if a car doesn't blow up or leak after 50 runs on our dyno in the dead heat of summer and leaves our facility behaving perfectly the odds of something being defective are reduced to zero. At that point it is the customer's responsibility to maintain the vehicle properly according to a new set of specifications.
All of our customers are well aware of our goals and conditions as well as the requirements that their newly modified Viper has. We hide nothing and I couldn't be more proud of our current staff and the work they are doing.
We are confident enough in our work that we don't need to offer a warranty.
I will be honest here. I stopped reading your post after this sentence because this was too funny. I am sure that Chevy was confident enough in their work on the C6 Z06 when it was released.....until the roofs started flying off.
I don't think Doug at RSI is out of line. He's a PR guy. I realize that I was one of the only RSI proponents on VA when I had my last car, but it was a GREAT car. I know the people working on the RSI cars here locally. And they're just as qualified to work on Vipers as other tuners were. If I'm not mistaken UG and Heffner were modifying Mustangs prior to Vipers...the guys here are just as capable and have ALOT of forced induction experience and LME is still doing the motors.

I am not personally familiar with DLM or Heffner's warranty policy, and thus can not comment nor compare what they offer. We have found that when you give a customer a no-questions-ask 100% blanket warranty they tend to be rather abusive of their doubled or tripled horsepower vehicle.
Racing Solutions is a business model designed to provide customers high quality parts and service for a reasonable price while producing a profit to both stay in business and grow. Now, we could significantly raise our prices, thus building in a "warranty" being paid for, but would rather rely on our expertise and quality workmanship and our customers' common sense to properly maintain their "new" snake.
This keeps our pricing down, and in the overwhelming majority of the builds, there is nothing to ever discuss anyhow in regards to something going wrong.

I agree! Just checked out the site ... I saw that you guys sell the CCW C14 wheels -- but CCW only shows them in an 18" size, where you guys are showing 19 & 20s ???
