How Long Should a Poll Run for Deleting Threads?

In the case that we need to pull a post for some sort of trolling activity, we need a decision on how long the poll should run. I dont wnat to wait until this happens and then run a poll on this subject. The longer we wait, the more people will have access to vote. The drawback on this is that it could take forever to pull a post. So how long? This will be an important poll so if the outcome is close. The top two options will be listed again for a subsequent poll. This poll will be kept up for 24 hours.

Well this is a tough one. Some threads will have to be deleted immediately. But we can't let a thread go forever that needs to be pulled. A trolls purpose could be served if we let it stand for any length of time. Hhhhmmm.

As far as standard threads go, it has been more than 24 horus and the members have spoken. The majority feel that it should be voted on by a 24 hour poll. There is another thread currently running to give the moderators more ability to delete threads with dangerous/illegal content. We will know hte outcome of that poll soon as well.
