The only reason the AVERAGE Joe thinks a Z06 handles better is because you don't have to have good throttle control, if your not careful in a Viper you can push the GO pedal too hard and spin. A vette doesn't have as much power so it won't.
It kinda reminds me of driving a go-cart at the amusement park, hold the pedal to the floor all the way around the track, and you think to yourself, self, man this thing handles gooood!
