I have the Hoosier Drag Radials. They are good for strip and short drive to it for me but i wouldn't drive daily with them. They are just too soft.

I bought th car with 39895 miles and the bearings spun at a click over 41000. The previous owner could have abused the car or it could have been do to over revving...we were never sure. The second time was due to the shop failing to replace the oil pump or oil cooler, so debris damaged the motor again immediately upon its first startup and oil starvation was also a culprit (only 7qts were drained when the motor did it the second time).

I'm actually the attorney for the shop that did the work, so my price was cost on all parts and then install. I'm guessing even at retail the whole thing wouldn't have been much more than $2500. Maybe not even that much.

I added some JL audio components in the door, JL audio coaxials in the rear hatch location, a JL Audio 6 channel amp, a JL audio 8" sub in one of their premade boxes and I'm using the new Sony DSX-S310BTX head unit. It's really cool. It has what they call a "tune tray", where the face folds down and you can plug an iPod or iPhone or USB memory stick in, then fold the face back up and you can't see it. You can still plug your iPhone into the front and use it for music, too. Plus it has bluetooth phone, streams Pandora, etc. Pretty slick setup. Very happy with how it all sounds.
