Alot of time went into making a beautiful car like that..

I thought the Audi TTs looked goofy, and I ended up buying 2.
The Veyron has similar cues, like a TT on steroids and psycho active drugs.
You'll like it when I give you a ride in mine.
I hear ya...But theres not a sexy bone on its body...Its just an egg shape..Dont get me wrong I like it but it just aint sexy the way a super exotic should be imho...
From an Ego stand point(my toys are cooler than yours') It has merit. but for the money I think a twin turbo Mercialago(sp) would be much cooler. Better looking(IMO), similar power, all wheel drive, less expensive even with the mods ect....

I think the Bugatti brand likes to keep things subdued. If Rolls-Royce or Bentley made a car like that, you'd expect a bit of retenue, some old continent style. The Bugatti grid in front is a witness to that.

I'm still partial to the Diablo VT over the Murc. Have a friend who's husband just bought a Murc. In person, the Diablo is much, much nicer.
The car was supposed to compete with the Enzo but due to the chiefs over at Audi(?) Some heads rolled for being late to the shelf and now the car is on pare for next summer I beleive. Its not too late to compete with the Porsche SuperCar I think thats coming out in the spring? Someone verify what I'm posting!

You are right. I read it on the automotive news website
I absolutely love that car!
When it first came out, I didn't like it much and now I really like it. I tend to like it for all the same reasons that other people don't like it.
It's over the top, that's for sure.
The funny thing is, when the Bugatti EB110 came out, I thought it was ugly and didn't like it either. Well, again, each time I saw it, I liked it more. Finally, it got to the point that I still thought it was ugly but at the same time, it was one of my favorite cars.
Perhaps it's the ugly duckling syndrome, liking the underdog. It was heavy, underperformed, had massive turbo lag and a face only Frankenstein would love, but I couldn't help liking the fat little 4 turbo oddball.
I feel the same with this Veyron. Sure, you can put together faster cars, and for less money. But I can't help liking that odd ball looking body every time I see it.
They have to limit top speed to 330 km/h since the car cannot handle higher speeds...THIS CAR IS A JOKE!
If is this on regular tires, yes, they say you can't go as fast.
You need special tires for the top speed.
Did you read something new I haven't seen yet?
If you're right then that may change my plans. I want to go 400km/h in the Veyron.
